Eat Low Fat Foods

Firstly, you should make sure that whatever food you eat has low fat content in it. There are number of products that claim to be low fat, but aren’t actually. Make sure that you eat all your meals properly and don’t skip them at any cost. Skipping meals would stop the ability to burn fat of an increased metabolism.

Drink Water

It’s not correct that you focus only on what you eat and not on what you drink. For an effective weight loss, you need to drink a large glass of water at regular intervals daily. In case you need something flavored, then you should go for green tea instead of cold drinks or alcohol. A glass of fresh fruit or lime juice would also do wonders for your body, but also make sure that you are not taking too many calories with certain kinds of fruit juices.

Exercise

Tips to retain weight loss involve exercise as one of the basic requirements for losing weight and once lost, maintaining the newly acquired shape of the body. If you don’t get enough time to visit a fitness center, then you can always buy some fitness related DVDs available in the market and do some workouts on your own. However, if you don’t like exercising then you should at least go for a morning walk or increase your mobility in some other ways like walking the stairs instead of taking the elevator.   

Last but not the least, find a partner with whom you can work out or go for a morning walk. In case you are required to take pills, then it’s better to take a medical advice from an expert.

Cardiovascular Exercises

The most effective tip to retain weight loss is by performing cardiovascular exercises. It is a kind of activity that lets your lungs and heart pumping and working hard for longer time. Running, biking and aerobics are some of the popular cardio activities. Try to do 25 to 30 minutes of cardio exercise per day, if possible six days a week. Exercise for at least an hour if possible, so that your body starts burning fat.

Cardiovascular exercises are also one of the best ways to lose stomach fat which is a major concern for those who want to lose those extra pounds quickly. Performing these exercises is vital, so that you don’t gain the lost weight again. Also following a proper diet helps a lot in reducing stomach fat which in turn also reduces weight to a great extent.
