 GM diet is also known as General Motor’s weight loss diet program. This is a diet and health program developed for employees of General Motors, Inc. and is planned for their private use. GM diet plan for weight loss program was developed and granted from U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Drug Administration. General Motors Corp. completely promotes this program and makes it available to all its employees and their families. This program is planned to target weight loss of 10-17 lbs/ week. This is a seven day plan. This plan can be used frequently as there is no fear of complications. GM Diet plan for Weight Loss is designed to flush your impurities and give you a feeling of freshness.

Diet Plan

Within first seven days of this plan, you must give up you alcoholic habits 
and drink 10 glasses of water each day.

Day One 

Eat all the fruits you want except banana. It is strongly recommended to consume lots of melons on the first day.

If you are successful in the consumption of only fruit and melons, you can lose up to 3 lbs. on the first day.

Day Two 

You are encouraged to eat raw or cooked vegetables of your choice. There is no limit on the amount or type.

Day Three 

A mixture of fruits and vegetables of your choice is given on the third day except banana and potato.

Day Four 

Day four goes with bananas and milk. It includes nearly eight bananas and three glasses of milk. You can take the special soups along with this.

Day Five 

This is the feast day. You can eat beef and tomatoes. On this day, you have to increase your water intake. This will help to clean your system.

Day Six 

On this day, you can eat an unlimited amount of beef as well as vegetables.

Day Seven

 On the seventh day, your food intake will consist of brown rice, fruit juices and all the vegetables.

 

 On the eighth day, you will find yourself 10-17 lbs. lighter than you were a week ago. If you want more weight loss, repeat the diet program again.

 

G.M.’S Important Soup

The following soup can be used as supplement to your diet. It can be eaten any time of the day and in virtually unlimited quantities.

28 oz water, 2 green peppers, 6 large onions, 1 head cabbage, 1 bunch celery, herbs and flavoring as desired and 4 envelopes Lipton Onion Soup Mix.

During this program, you can take vegetables in the form of a salad if desired.

Beverages you can consume while on the program:

1.       Water  flavored with lemon or lime water

2.       Club Soda

3.       Black coffee Without cream and sugar

4.       Black Tea

5.       No fruit juices before day seven
