Vitamin B

B vitamins are essential in maintaining healthy hair. This is present in beans, eggs or berries. This can also be taken in supplement form which is easily available in the market.

Biotin 

Biotin vitamin helps to promote hair and nail growth. It is found in oats, brown rice as well as sunflower seeds.

Vitamin A

Vitamin A improves our immune system function, resulting in healthier hair. We can get vitamin A from carrots, kale, etc.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C improves blood circulation to the scalp and follicles. This can help to speed up hair growth. Vitamin C is present in fruits like oranges and berries. You can also take supplement form of vitamin C from market.

 Vitamin B3

·         The ideal intake of this vitamin is recommended to 15 mg. If you take more than 25 mg a day of this vitamin, it can lead to burning sensation because of blood cell dilation known as niacin flush.

Vitamin B5

·         It is also known as pantothenic acid

·         You can find this vitamin in brewer’s yeast, organ meats, whole grain cereals, and egg yolks.

·         Recommended daily dose is 4 - 7mg 

Vitamin B6

·         This vitamin prevents hair loss and improves the production of melanin within the body which provides hair color.

·         Sources of vitamin B6 are brewer’s yeast, veggies, organ meats, liver, whole grain cereals, and egg yolks.

·         Recommended daily dose is 1.6 mg per day

Along with this, Vitamin B12, C and E are known to be the important vitamins for hair growth.
