  • If you quit smoking, it helps to reduce your risks of hazardous diseases that it causes.
  • Smoking causes premature death in many individuals as a smoker has a high risk of developing chronic disorders like atherosclerosis, coronary heart diseases and cardiac failure due to stroke. Therefore, to control all these fatal diseases, it is essential to quit smoking.
  • Quitting smoking helps you to control the risk factors like high blood cholesterol, high blood pressure, physical inactivity, obesity and diabetes.
  • Inhalation of cigarette smoke damages your cerebro-vascular system. Using cigars or pipes are of no benefit, as it does lead to the malfunctioning of heart causing coronary diseases.
