Male menopause is the condition seen in ageing men. This relates to the slow and steady reduction of the production of hormones testosterone and dehydroepiandrosterone in case of middle aged men. It is also associated with the decrease in leydig cells. Women menopause is complete and permanent and completely shuts down the reproductive system as a normal event. In case of men, there is steady decline in testosterone levels with age. This is also called as Andropause or androgen deficiency of the aging male as it correctly reflects the gradual loss of testosterone production. The changes in male are:

Male menopause Symptoms

Male menopause refers to the decline in testosterone production in men as they age. It is also termed as andropause and has same menopause symptoms as female menopause. Hormone therapy may be given to counter early menopause or mid life crisis.
