Just one session of professional massage can add to a person’s sense of well-being, in addition to providing many psychological and physical benefits. Using machines for massage can be of great help in working out the sore parts in your body.

Massage therapy works to increase the circulation of blood throughout the body, helping its organs to operate more proficiently and to move waste matter through the system more quickly. Its immediate result is the release of endorphins which serve to get rid of pain and increase a sense of relaxation and well-being.

Massage on the body’s muscular system helps to exercise and stretch the muscles that are weak, overworked or just not receiving enough oxygen. An individual who suffers from constant pain or inflammation can benefit from the reduction or complete elimination of pain, in addition to the lessening of painful cramping and spasms under the hands of a skilled massage therapist.

If you want to do it yourself, then using machines for massage would be a good idea. There are many effective machines available for massage in the market which gives you much needed relaxation similar to that of a massage therapy.

Some Effective Machines for Massage

Shiatsu Massage

Shiatsu which means finger pressure in Japanese refers to a style of massage that uses the palm and the fingers to apply pressure to particular areas of the body. Massagers of this type imitate shiatsu massage techniques to help you relax, reduce stress, improve circulation, release toxins from the body and more.

Acupressure Massage

Like shiatsu massage, this massage also uses mechanisms that simulate an individual’s fingers to press and arouse certain acupressure points on your body. Using these pressure points, acupressure massagers decrease pain and increase the flow of oxygen to the corresponding parts of the body, reducing stress and increasing energy levels.

Infrared Massage

These massagers use infrared heat to warm the body part you’re massaging using direct light conversion to increase circulation and nurture damaged tissue as far as 2 to 3 inches into your body. Infrared is frequently used in combination with acupuncture therapy to increase the flow of blood to the affected area.

Ultrasonic/ Ultrasound Massage

Ultrasound or ultrasonic massage uses ultrasonic waves to create a powerful vibrating massage that gives your muscles and tissues a workout and might even have slimming effects. These massagers use a special conductive gel that isn’t intended to be deep tissue, but they are great for targeting problem areas on your skin and face and might be able to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Tens Massage (Transcutaneous Nerve Stimulation)

This machine uses bio electrical currents to create tapping and kneading sensations. This massage stimulates nerves up to about an inch under the skin, and can help with the relaxation of muscles and raise the level of endorphins for natural pain relief.

Massage has proven to be helpful in lessening anxiety and depression in many people and using machines for massage would be a great way to achieve that.
