- Medications for the Treatment of Heart -There are several medicines for the treatment of heart. Some of the most commone medicines are beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, diuretics, angiotensin, angiotensin-2, statins.
- A Non-Surgical Treatment includes balloon angioplasty. It is designed to dilate the narrowed arteries.
- Bypass Surgery is the other way of treating the heart. In this surgery, surgeon removes part of the blood vessel from some other part of body and attaches it to the blocked artery so that the muscle can work properly. The main aim of the by pass surgery is to construct a new channel so that blood can flow actively.
Other Heart Treatments include.
- Regular Physical Activity
Even a modest amount of physical activity each day will aid you in lowering your LDL cholesterol level and raise your HDL cholesterol level. Performing exercise regularly helps in improving your hearts efficiency, good circulation of blood and increases your overall strength.
- Healthy Heart Diet
Increase your consumption of vegetables, fresh fruits, grains, low fat dairy products. The main aim of healthy heart diet is to replace the high saturated fat food with healthier foods.
- Watch your weight
Being overweight increase your triglycerides levels, which result in promoting several heart diseases. Diet and regular exercise will help you to lower and maintain a healthy weight.
- Manage your stress level
- Limit the consumption of alcohol
- Quit smoking
