Graying hair is an ordinary process that naturally happens later in life with age. Sometimes, it happens that young adults will also develop premature graying. Getting gray hairs at a premature age can make you seem older than you actually are. A study states that you're considered  to be aged if half your hair is gray, and you're under 40. Preventing premature graying is possible when you follow some steps daily to take care of your hairs.

There are a lot of unusual causes for prematurely aged hair, together with a faulty diet, high levels of pressure, and genetics. Hair gets its color from melanin pigment which is in the hair follicles. As you age, your body makes less melanin, resulting in gray hair. There are a number of things you can do to avoid prematurely graying hair.

Preventing Premature Graying

  • Consume bananas, seafood, and carrots, because they're wealthy in iodine, which maintains the health of your hair.
  • Keep eating foods which are high in copper, such as crab, almonds and oysters. Having a copper shortage can lessen melanin manufacture, causing hair to become gray ahead of time.
  • Limit your use of processed foods that contain preservatives and artificial colors, because they damage your digestive system, that can direct to a dry scalp and breakable, dry hair.
  • Take a glass of buttermilk. Add 2 tsp. of mushroom and 2 tsp. of wheat germ to the buttermilk. Mix up the solution meticulously with a spoon. Drink the solution to stop your hair from prematurely graying.
  • Merge equal parts of coconut oil and lemon juice in a bowl. Rub down the solution into your hair.
  • Add curry leaves to the coconut oil, and place the pan on the stove-top to boil. Once the solution has chilled, rub it well into your hair to get back pigmentation.
  • Deal with your stress levels to stop early gray hair. Practice yoga or do meditation to stay stress-free.
  • Take good care of your scalp and hair by washing and shampooing it regularly. When you wash your hair, keep changing from hot water to cold water.
  • Comb your hair repeatedly. A hundred strokes every nighttime should do the trick. If your hair is curly, use a broad toothed comb.
  • Discontinue smoking because it adds to premature aging, including premature graying.
  • Wash your hair and scalp regularly with warm water and shampoo and take care of it with a conditioner. Keep your hair and scalp clean, so your hair becomes healthy and strong. Use gooseberry shampoos and hair treatment products on a frequent basis because they can help prevent premature hair graying.

Hereditary factors often cause early graying, along with the excessive consumption of alcohol, tea, meat, coffee, and fried, oily, sour, spicy or acidic foods. Delayed anxiety, harsh illnesses, and nutritional deficiencies may also cause premature gray hair. Although gray hair is part of the normal aging process, premature graying is able to be partly stopped by eating firm foods and using natural solutions. Preventing premature graying is possible by following these steps.
