Children are our future. They have so much energy. We should understand their natural desire for physical activity and lead them to burn out their energy in a right mode, so they will stay happy and fit for a lifetime. Today’s kids have higher obesity rate and it increases day by day. Child obesity is a severe problem of the entire new generation. Illnesses that are generally seen in an adult population like type 2 diabetes and heart diseases are now seen in younger generation worldwide. The new trends of lifestyle introduce illness to children and it is threatening.

You can easily keep away your little ones from such misery. Parents have all the responsibility to see what their children eat and if they are maintaining healthy diet or not. Not only healthy diet, but adequate exercise is also needed. Playing games, planning active outing on holidays, setting interesting game programs that include physical activities, etc. will help kids to stay fit and fine.

We should make exercises interesting for them. They should not be boring, otherwise kids will turn to unhealthy options, for e. g. watching TV for hours or playing videogames on computer.

Physical workout is necessary for children in their early years of development. There are many health benefits of exercise for children. Let’s have a look at the health benefits of exercises concerning growing kids.

·         Immune system becomes strong. The body can fight against diseases more powerfully. Chances for catching infections such as cold, allergies and other diseases become less.

·         Reduces threat of type 2 diabetes by increasing insulin compassion and also improves carbohydrate metabolism.

·         Exercise strengthens total cardiovascular system, including the heart and the lungs.

·         Children don’t get fat and also will have better control on the body fat. If they have gained childhood obesity, then they will reduce it due to physiological effect of burning fat during workout.

·         Exercise improves the brain’s metabolism. Studies have proved that the children who have better brain function have improved brain memory.

·         Exercise helps kids to burn off the harmful hormones and increases beneficial ones.

·         Active children can concentrate much better

·         Workout decreases anxiety, depression and stress. In addition, their quality of sleep is also good. It develops mood in children.

·         Regular workout builds self confidence in children. They can overcome difficult circumstances and enjoy life.

·         Exercise makes kids breathe better and sweat more. Breathing and sweating are both great ways to detoxify the body.

·         There is an advancement of overall fitness during exercise.

It is studied and proved that children, who include exercise in their daily routine, are more smart and active both mentally and physically than others. Outdoor games and playful exercises give children long lasting joy.
