The hip joint is basically a ball and socket joint which when damaged can cause intense back pain and are sometimes too severe to bear. There can be various factors behind hip joint pain. Proper diagnosis is always required to detect the exact cause of painful hip joints in order to access the right treatment for its recovery. You will be suffering from limited range of movement especially while bending or turning due to the occurrence of hip joint disorder. Hip joints can be damaged by many diseases that are caused due to various bone or muscle related disorders as well as injuries. The following are the various joint ailments responsible for pain in hip joints.

  • Arthritis is the most common type of joint disorder that causes pains in the hip joints. The bones get degenerated and become too stiff to move smoothly. If general joint medication fails to heal the pain, hip replacement operation can be a convenient option for patients.
  • When the bursa or the thin coating around the hip joint is affected the disease called trochanteric bursitis is caused. The disease is accompanied by inflammation and bursa.
  • Pain is also caused by the disease called tendonitis which affects the tendons adjacent to the hip joint area. The disease causes inflammation of the tendons. The most common type of tendonitis occurring in the hip joint is the iliotibial band (IT band) tendonitis.
  • The hip joint is mostly affected by the disease called osteonecrosis. It is caused when the joint gets inadequate supply of blood. The bones become weak and break down because of malnourishment.
  • A painful sensation of snapping hip syndrome occurs due to three main distinct problems in the hip joint muscle area. One of them occurs when the IT band in the outside of the thigh breaks, the other is caused when the deeply placed hip flexor breaks at the frontal hip joint and the last is the tearing of the cartilage or the labrum round the hip joint socket region.
  • Patients suffering from osteoporosis or brittle bone disease mainly suffer from hip bone fractures that cause severe pain in the joint area. Athletes also experience hip joint pain and spasm in the pelvis region due to excessive physical stress like hamstring stains and groin pulls.

Since the hip joint is the primary joint connecting the upper and lower part of the body much of the physical movement depends on the involvement of the joint. Hip joint pain should not be neglected and should be treated under medical supervision in the initial stages of the disorder itself. There are several joint supplements available in the market. Joint Advance is a very effective supplement that would help to keep your joints strong and resistant towards daily wear and tear.
