Building good vision is totally our responsibly towards our eyesight. It is very important to have good eyesight. It can result in improvement of one's entire wellbeing. Building good vision does not require specific time or age. One you are aware of it, you can start acting for it. Following are some tips that can help you in building good vision.

  • You are the one who can care for your eyes and vision properly. Taking care of your eyes is easy. You can visit an optometrist to evaluate your vision strength and do the best for it.
  • Plan a healthy lifestyle. Avoid smoking and extreme alcohol intake. Smoking can cause cataracts. It can also develop macular degeneration. Extreme alcohol intake can dehydrate your body, including your eyes. Dry eyes are the symptom of smokers and alcohol drinkers.
  • Eat right for building a good vision. Eat healthy food. Add Vitamin A rich foods, carrots, milk and vegetables in your diet for good vision.
  • Avoid fatty and sweet foods to keep the blood sugar in healthy limits which can turn to diabetes.
  • Exercise well and enjoy relaxation activities to avoid hyper tension
  • High blood pressure condition when left untreated can result into blindness. It can also increase the risk for eye diseases like diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and glaucoma.
  • Always wear sunglasses when you are going outdoor. Keep in mind that UV light coming from the sun is very harmful for your eyes.
  • Plan regular appointments with an optometrist which can promote eye health. Early prevention and discovery of eye problems can make the difference for your eye health.
  • Most eye problems take place due to stress, and tension which leads to slowly failing of eyesight. It is very important for your eye muscles to move freely.

Exercises for Building Good Vision

  • Palming: In this technique, just close your eyes and cover them with your palm. Don’t apply pressure on it. Breathe slowly, relaxing and imagining deep blackness. You can do this exercise for ten minutes, 2-3 times per day.
  • Swinging: Keep your eyes in a mobile state. Then stand up and focus on any point. Blinking helps to lubricate and to clean the eyes.
  • Sunning: Close the eyes and try to look directly at the sun through closed eyes. This exercise helps to enable blood circulation.
  • Color Day: Choose any color and find out at any point throughout your day schedule. When you see the particular color, notice that specific color rather than the form.

Food and Nutrition for Building of Good Vision

  • Take enough of zinc and iron in your diet
  • Eat carotenoids which present in sweet potato, carrots, broccoli, and dark green vegetables.
