· It is advised to the patient that before wearing clothes, wash the clothing by treating it with hot water, proper medication and dry in a hot dryer. Besides this, wash the entire set of clothes with hot medicated water and dry-clean all the linen including the blankets, if it is not possible to make use of the washing machine.
· Keep your home and daily environment clean and regularly wash the quilts, blankets and your clothes. Wash the other items like toys as children are likely to touch them and take advantage of treatment of scabies to avoid spreading further.
