Diabetes is a disease of increase in the level of glucose in bloodstream which if not prevented on time may cause damage to the vision by damaging the retina of the eye which captures the images and sends them to brain. High rise in the sugar quantity in body my cause retinopathy, cataract and Glaucoma, which causes severe distortion to the vision of a person.

What to eat with diabetes is an important question as food is the primary factor which helps in increasing and decreasing the level of sugar in the food. Right quality and quantity of food intake containing fibers, proteins, potassium, iron and carbohydrate aids the body cells in accumulating and converting glucose into energy which helps in preventing the patient from diabetes.

This type of diabetes if not checked on time can lead to severe health problems in the child. According to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Dieases, 3 to 8 out of 100 in USA suffer from the hazards of gestational diabetes.
