When you smile right in the most appropriate and pleasing manner you are confident and you feel that you can take on the world. When you have clean and well aligned teeth you would also increase your face value. Dental treatments would help you attain a beautiful smile.

On the subject of dental treatments-

Dental treatments work towards the treatment of dental deformities. Dental treatments consist of dental implants, tooth restoration, veneers, crowns, orthodontics, white fillings, dental bridges, gum reshaping and tooth whitening dental procedures. You could opt for any dental solution which you may require.

Some dental treatments include-

Teeth whitening: Teeth get discolored and stained due to various external influences such as excessive intake of tea, coffee and tobacco. Stains occur on the surface of the teeth which also make the teeth brittle and weak. Tooth whitening is performed using light –activated whitening gel which works to bleach the teeth and remove stains which are tough in nature. Tooth whitening is best done along with home whitening kits and in-surgery treatments.

Veneers: Veneers are porcelain shells which act as a protective cover for the teeth, while improving the color of the teeth and disguising dental defects. Veneers are made to sit over a tooth which helps in disguising stained, decayed and crooked teeth.

Lumineers: Lumineers come under the category of veneers. These are ultra-thin in nature and function to cover gaps between the teeth, while improving the condition of the teeth.

White fillings: White fillings blend in with the original color of the teeth. White fillings are much better options when compared to black amalgam fillings which would constantly require re-fillings and replacement.

Dental implants: With the help of dental implants one can replace missing or lost teeth. Dental implants work to restore ones smile by filling in the gaps in the teeth structure. A dental implant is anchored into a pre-drilled socket in the jawbone. Implants are made of titanium which makes them strong and durable. Dental implants are capable of supporting dental bridges and crowns. Dental implants also help in stabilizing loose dentures.

Dental bridges: Dental bridges help in the replacement of missing or lost teeth. For the treatment of dental bridges, a local anaesthetic is administered to the patient. The two surrounding teeth around the gap are trimmed and a mould is created of the gaps. A dental bridge is thereafter created made up of one whole tooth and caps for the supporting teeth. Dental bridges can last up to ten years.

Dentures: Dentures are useful commodities when people have either lost their entire set of teeth or a part of their teeth. Dentures along with being comfortable also look like natural teeth. Dentures are usually held in place with the suction of the gums or with a fixative.

You can transform the shape of your smile and enhance the structure of your oral cavity with dental treatments. Dental treatments when done under professional guidance and with the assistance of a well qualified cosmetic dentist you can take in tremendous psychological benefits.
