Many people suffer from crooked or protruding teeth. Some people are also born with protruding or crowded teeth. Teeth sometimes are also in bad shape and condition when we neglect dental health. Dental braces function to relieve one of dental problems.

About dental braces-

With the usage of dental braces one can realign crooked and misaligned teeth. Braces work to reduce gaps in one set of teeth using a trouble free procedure. You can smile without a problem while using braces.

Dental braces come in various types and materials one can choose braces according to ones preference and choice.

Types of dental braces are as under-

Conventional braces: Conventional braces function with the help of metal wires which require to be adjusted along with pressure on a particular tooth. These braces have to be adjusted till they are fitted properly. Conventional braces are most suited for young children as they are visible on the outside. These braces for added support take the help of bands which are attached to the molars.

Invisalign braces: These braces are made up of clear or invisible material. Invisalign braces take the assistance of invisible aligners. The material used in the making of these braces blends in with color of the teeth. When compared to the other types of braces available these braces are known to be most convenient since they cannot be seen and can be taken off when required.

Self Ligating braces: These braces do not require any sort of ligatures to keep the wires in place. Self Ligating braces are a suitable option since they don’t create any sort of friction in the teeth structure.

Ligual braces: Ligual braces are placed behind the teeth and provide good amount of support to the entire set of teeth from behind. Ligual braces are hard to detect even from close quarters.

Inman aligners: These braces provide quick results after use. Inman aligners are shown to provide positive results in a few weeks after being placed in the teeth.

Damon braces: Damon braces function with help of clips. These braces work at a much faster rate along with providing comfort. Clips are used to handle wires which support the braces. Damon braces do not apply much pressure on the patient’s teeth. Along with providing support for the front teeth, they also provide support for keep the back teeth in order.

The main advantage of Damon braces is that they work at a faster rate when compared to other braces. These braces do not cause much friction between the brackets and the wires. Damon braces are easier to clean, handle and offer a lot of ease. Visits to the dentist are known to be much less with Damon braces because of the least materials used in the making. Teeth can move freely with least amount of pain with these braces.
