To know the common causes of constipation, it is very important to know what constipation is. Constipation is defined as resulting of a bowel movement less than three times per week. Due to constipation, stools becomes hard, dry, small in size, and get difficult to be eliminated. Some constipated people find it painful to have a bowel movement and also feel bloating, straining, and the sense of a full bowel.
