Laser Hair Removal - Actual Technique
The area on which hair removal treatment is to be performed is shaved and cleaned with antiseptics. After this, anaesthetic cream is applied to the area. When treatment starts, laser produces the pulsed beams of highly intense light which get absorbed in the specific pigment located in the hair follicles. As a result, it damages the surrounding follicle. The length of this laser session may be a few minutes to more than an hour which depends on the size of the area being treated. Laser hair removal costs anywhere above 100 US dollars, depending on the area to be treated.
