According to Ayurveda, the true definition of beauty is healthy internal radiance. If you are healthy internally, it is manifested in your external body too. The Ayurvedic skin care tips help you to look beautiful and glowing naturally without any side effects

Your skin represents your health. It senses things like touch, pressure, temperature and pain and also gets affected by them. So you must take special care of your skin. If neglected, it will show signs of premature aging.

Some Ayurvedic Skin Care Tips

·         Wash your face with water and apply a mixture of rose water, lime juice and cucumber juice, all in equal quantities. Keep it overnight and rinse off in the morning. This keeps your face healthy and clears the complexion.

·         Ayurveda also provides aids for removing blackheads, pimples, and other stains of the skin. Mix equal quantities of rose water, glycerin, and lime juice. Apply this lotion to the face regularly. This mixture can be applied to other parts of the body too.

·         To clean the deep pores of the skin, make a mixture of lime juice (2 teaspoon), a pinch of salt and 50ml of raw milk. Use this mixture as a cleansing lotion.

·         To remove unwanted hair from the face, mix equal quantities of wheat flour and turmeric powder and make a paste with sesame oil. Apply and wash after it gets dried up.

·         Apply a mixture of tomato juice (50 ml) and lemon juice (1tbs). This makes the skin soft and smooth.

·         For soft and smooth skin, apply orange juice regularly on your face.

·         Apply a paste of raw carrots on the face. Keep it for one hour and then wash it off with cold water. This makes the skin glow.

·         To remove stains from the face, application of mint juice is very helpful.

·         A mixture of cabbage juice (30 ml) and honey (1tbs) if applied regularly, helps a lot in avoiding wrinkles.

These natural remedies are simple and can be performed at the comfort of home. There is no need to take out extra time from your daily routine. You just need 5 to 10 minutes to perform any of the above said tips for a clear, smooth and radiant complexion. At least, this much time you can devote for your skin.

Ayurvedic skin care also includes a healthy diet and yoga. Your diet must include foods that are appropriate for your body and the season. Try to eat lighter meals and also space out your meals. This will help to maintain a healthy digestive system. Eat lots of fresh vegetables and fruits. Perform yoga on a daily basis. Yoga energies you and refreshes your body. Your skin is also affected by yoga.

Skin is the mirror of an individual’s health. If you are healthy inside, your skin will look glowing and radiant where as an unhealthy skin looks dull and blemished. Ayurvedic skin care is the best option to avoid and cure all the problems related to skin naturally.
