  1. For a healthy and young looking skin one needs to be sun safe: If you want your share of healthy and young looking skin then remember, you’ll have to stop worshipping the sun. Sun burns, blemishes, wrinkles and age spots are commonly the gifts that this worship can bless you with. Enjoying the sun will be a better phrase in your life than wallowing in the sun. Stay sun safe and opt for sun guards when moving out even if the sun is not bright enough.
  2. Choose the right SPF to maintain a youthful skin: If it is a necessity to travel in the sun then, be very cautious about choosing the right sun screen. The very minimum sun protection factor commonly known as SPF that should be chosen by one and all even if not going in the sun should be SPF 15. In case you have to move a lot in the sun, then a sunscreen with SPF 25 must be used. The brand of sunscreen is also very important, make sure you use quality product when it comes to your skin.
  3. Make it customary to clean your skin to maintain the youthful look: A regular routine should be maintained to clean the skin properly everyday. No compromise shall be there in this affair however tired or busy you are. A regular regime of cleaning, moisturizing and toning of skin should be maintained. Let your skin breathe bacteria free and let it look young naturally.
  4. Exfoliation gives you a younger looking skin: Properly exfoliate your skin not only to remove the makeup but also do regular cleansing but also to ward off the layer of dead cells from your skin. A quality cleanser for exfoliation which is good enough to slough away the dead skin should be picked to maintain a youthful skin. 
  5. To have a younger looking skin avoid smoke and smoking: To have and maintain a young and healthy looking skin, one should abandon smoking completely. Not only smoking but also the areas which are smoke prone should be avoided as they simply mar the youthful look of the skin.  Smoke is a major factor responsible for the body’s oxygen starvation. This automatically leads to a sluggish and dull looking skin which makes a person look several years older than the actual age. 

These are the basics of having a young and healthy looking skin. Other factors which can be kept in mind to maintain the youth of the skin are taking a balanced diet (especially rich in fish oils), having at least 2.5 liters of water daily, regularly working out and taking a tension free relaxing sleep.
