Skin ageing is one of the unsightly and inevitable facts of the world. Over the years, the skin of a person tends to become thin and its elasticity vanishes away eventually. This depletion in the skin develops hideous wrinkles and fine lines on a soft looking face. Majorly mouth and lips, forehead, neck and jowl are the areas most prone to the signs of ageing. One usually develops crow’s feet close to the eyes, fine lines on the forehead, sagginess around mouth and lips and slackness on the neck and jowls. Major causes of these marks and signs is definitely ageing but often notice untimely signs of ageing which pop up due to hectic lifestyles, excessive sun exposure, environmental effluence and unseemly eating habits. Here are some steps to prevent untimely ageing and delaying the signs of ageing for a fairly longer period of time.

Guard your skin from sunbathing to delay ageing signs: It is highly recommendable to use sun defense products with appropriate amount of sun protection factor commonly known as SPF. When selecting the sun guard, keep in mind that the SPF level is at least 15 or more. It should be used on the skin all the year round, even if the sun is not shining. In case you need to stay out a lot, say for instance on a holiday or in a marketing job, one needs to use a sun guard with at least SPF 30.

Signs of ageing can be delayed by consuming plenty of water: If the skin is well hydrated from within it will stay firm and plump. Maintain a minimum average of at least eight glasses of water per day which counts to around 2.5 liters. This not only swills out the toxins of your body but will also avert the signs of ageing from having a hold on your face. If you are able to replace the intake of coffee and alcohol (which are supposed to be great water dehydrators) with water then you can easily divert the signs of ageing.

To avoid ageing signs, stop munching unhealthy and junk stuff: If you are still not into a healthy diet, then indulge yourself into it before it gets too late. Your diet should consist of not less than five portions of fruits and leafy green veggies a day. The diet should be rich in elements like raspberries, strawberries, grapes, oranges, banana, etc. Leafy green veggies such as spinach, cabbage, lettuce, broccoli, etc too are considered highly nutritive.

To prevent untimely ageing, maintain a free radical shield: Anti oxidants of the body are great catchers of free radicals which are enough to create extensive skin damage. To avoid skin ageing one can opt for some of the effective supplements and vitamins such as pyconegol, beta-carotene, lycopene, selenium, vitamin E and C.

These are some of the basic steps which one and all should take up to have a healthy and glowing skin. If you are still not a victim of ageing, then too you can give the above suggestions a start as they’ll help in maintaining a healthy skin and delay the signs of ageing. Some other steps which also prove to be helpful in maintaining a healthy skin and fighting the signs of ageing are usage of classy skin care products, evading smoking from schedules and smiling a lot.
