Tips to Boost Immunity to Avoid Allergies

 There are different types of allergies that can affect your body. Action of this allergy depends on the working of your immune system. Strong immunity reduces the allergic condition of the body. Here are some tips to boost immunity to avoid allergies.

1.       Take one to two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar once a day as it contains vitamins and minerals that help to improve your immune system. Taking this daily helps you to reduce the allergy attacks especially due to pets.

2.       Carrot juice contains beta carotene; a derivative of Vitamin A also improves the immune functions of your body. It relieves discomforts produced in the body by sudden production of histamine.

3.       Lavender tea reduces the harshness of allergy attacks. It also helps to avoid irritation brought about by allergens. Antiseptic properties of lavender tea help to heal bacteria-induced wounds.

4.       A cup of strawberries consumed daily will provide your body with Vitamin C. Vitamin C helps to boost the immune system.

Studies say that 50 million Americans experience seasonal allergy caused by mold, ragweed, pollen, and other substances. Due to ragweed allergy, many people cannot sleep, or work because of sneezing, coughing, runny nose, and watery eyes.

Here are some more tips which can help you to boost your immunity to avoid allergy:

·         Make sure that your diet is rich in Vitamin C to boost your immune system. Vitamin C also acts as a natural antihistamine. Take 1000 mg of Vitamin C daily to avoid ragweed allergy and other seasonal allergies.

·         Foods containing Omega-3 fatty acids like  salmon, flaxseed, and walnuts will also help to improve your immune functioning.

·         According to immunologists, 400 mg of magnesium or salt water should be used daily to irrigate your nostrils and remove trapped allergens and excess of mucus.

·         Hot mustard, horseradish, and chili pepper used on your favorite dish can also serve as temporary decongestants to avoid allergens.

·         Drink plenty of water which will help to re-hydrate your body, making you cool down to relieve the allergic symptoms.

·         Avoid excess use of dairy products. These products trigger your body to make excess of phlegm and that will affect your immune system making the allergic symptoms worst.

Boost your Immune System with Supplements

Although food sources like vegetables, fruits and dairy products give more beneficial and easily absorbed nutrients supply, taking a supplement daily can definitely help you to get necessary vitamins and minerals that can help to boost your immune system.

  • Vitamin A will make your immune system strong. It directly crosses the skin and mucous membranes of the lungs and gut and improves immune system functioning.
  • B-complex vitamins are used for cell growth of the body
  • Vitamins E and C are known to be antioxidants that help to improve the immune system against viruses.
  • Zinc is the most important mineral that plays an important role in the development of immunity. Foods rich in zinc like grains, whole, bran, oysters, seafood, and poultry will help to make your immunity strong.

Exercise Strengthens the Body against Disease

Cold and flu is the most repeatedly happening allergic conditions. Daily exercise helps to remove waste and toxins from our body. Exercise flushes bacteria and foreign particles from the lungs by rising the respiratory rate. Only 20 minutes of regular exercise is sufficient to boost the immune system.

We can conclude that boosting our immunity is the only solution to make your body fit and strong for the allergic conditions.
