Chest acne is one of the most common acne related problems and it is found on the chest, causing severe embarrassment and discomfort to the patient. - Avoid wearing tight fitting clothes, as they would end up rubbing the acne on the chest and spread infection.
- Deodorants and thick greasy body lotions must also be avoided as they would block the skin pores and cause acne outbreaks!
- In cases of severe chest acne, doctors may prescribe antibiotics that are known to effectively reduce the outbreak of acne on chest.
- Avoid squeezing and picking up chest acne as they would cause acne to leave scars behind.
- Applying mud packs containing tea-tree oils are also effective in controlling chest acne.
