Pimples or acne is one of the most common skin problems that affect 90% of people, mostly in the ages of 15-25. We get pimples on nose very easily because the T-zone of most of the people, which comprises of forehead, nose and the chin are most oily and have more number of pores which are also larger in size as compared in the cheeks.

What to do to get rid of pimples on nose?

  • The best thing to treat a pimple on nose is to apply effective skin creams which not only dry out the pimple but also remove the scars.
  • You may also apply over-the-counter creams containing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide on the pimple and also the rest of the nose. They would dry up the pimple and prevent further outbreak of new pimples.
  • Do not squeeze or pick up the pimple unless you wish to have a full-blown acne pustule there. Squeezing also causes scarification.
  • If a pimple is under the skin and is reddened, one can provide hot compresses with a warm cloth. This would bring the pimple to the surface which can be then handled by application of acne creams.
  • Apart from applications on face, you should take a healthy balanced diet which contains fresh fruits, vegetables and drink plenty of water. These would help in detoxifying the body.
