How to Clear Acne

Acne is a skin problem that affects a wide population of people especially in the age groups of 15-25 years. Young people are found frustrated as a result of acne outbreaks and struggle to answer: how to clear acne.  We all know that at teenage, hormonal imbalances occur which cause excess production of sebum or oil. As a result the skin pores get clogged and acne outbreak or pimples take place. If the pimples are not inflamed, one can find whiteheads or blackheads.

How to get acne-free skin

  • In order to get rid of acne and clear the skin of pimples, one must have a regular habit of drinking plenty of water, not less than 8-10 glasses a day. This would help in cleansing our system and allows the skin pores to breathe easy.
  • A diet rich in vitamins and zinc is also found to be effective in reducing acne outbreaks.

Medicines to clear acne

  • Effective topical application of creams such Acnezine, ultra Clearasil, Proactive etc are extremely effective to make your skin flawless and free from acne outbreaks.
  • Over-the-counter creams which contain salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide are also effective in reducing acne.

Natural remedies to get clear skin

  • In order to get a blemish free and pimple free skin, make a pack of fuller’s earth to which rose water and lemon juice have been added. Wash off after 30 minutes. Fuller’s earth naturally absorbs the excess oil off the skin.
  • Mix lemon juice and cucumber pulp and apply the paste on the face. Wash off after 30 minutes. This is an excellent method to clear the face of blackheads, white heads etc.
  • Aloe Vera is also effective in treating acne prone skin. Use aloe Vera creams and soaps to clear up the skin.
  • Apply a paste of tomatoes on the acne and wash after an hour.
  • The natural astringents in the tomato clear up the skin of whiteheads and black heads.
  • Steam the face for 5 minutes. This would open the pores and loosen the blackheads and white heads. Now apply a good quality scrub and slowly massage the skin. Leave the mixture on the face for 15 minutes and then wash off by moistening the hands. Apply a gentle moisturizer like honey afterwards. Leave it on for 15 minutes and wash off. Repeat this procedure twice in a week. You will find a glowing skin free from acne and pimples.
